My Daily Mantra

Today I am pregnant.

I cannot control whether or not this baby will live - only God knows that.

Reading about no heartbeats/yolk sacs/baby on 1st ultrasounds does not mean this will be my own outcome.

I have been given a 4th chance, I cannot waste it on worrying.

and breathe.

  3. (hugs) When you have doubts, think about people like me... pregnant after 3 losses with a baby that looks like it might make it. There's no rhyme or reason, but like you said, you're pregnant today. So glad that those numbers are still doubling and things are headed in the right direction!

  7. Not only are you pregnant, but you're already more pregnant than you were in 2/3 of your previous pregnancies. Keep up the positive thinking!

  11. Just got back from my trip (and to my long lost laptop!). Am so relieved that your HCG numbers have continued to climb. I thought of you while we were away, hoping hoping hoping. You're right. You can't control the outcome. But things look awfully good on the HCG front. Waiting is so very terrible, especially when you have dealt with loss before. But the important/good/key thing is that past experience does not mean anything this time around (and this time around things look pretty darned good! Yay for a bionic sense of smelling!). I'm thinking such good thoughts for you. Everything is crossed.
